This Mansory-Tuned Wraith Isn't The Vomit-Fest You Were Expecting
If you wanted proof that tuning companies will have a go at anything, you need to get a load of this Rolls-Royce Wraith - modified by German firm Mansory. The company specialises in tuned luxury cars, and has fiddled about with anything from Bugatti Veyrons to Lamborghini Aventadors in the past, often with some horrific styling additions.
As far as Mansory cars go, the exterior changes to this Wraith are relatively restrained: there's a new two-tone chrome and petrol blue paint job, a bodykit, and a set of giant 22-inch alloy wheels. Inside, you get two-tone leather incorporating a similar blue colour to the exterior, carbonfibre trim, and 'multi-coat piano lacquer.' Nice.
There's added poke, too. The 6.6-litre V12 has been tweaked to deliver 730bhp - up from the standard car's 623bhp - and 737lb/ft of torque. This doesn't make a huge difference to the 0-62mph time, which has been shaved down by 0.2secs to 4.4 seconds, but the 155mph electronic limiter is gone - this car will do 186mph.
The car will make its debut at the Geneva motor show later this week. There's no word on pricing for this Wraith upgrade package yet, but it ain't gonna be cheap.
