6 Epic Spins, Saves And Crashes From The Soaking Wet US GP Final Practice
Despite heavy rain continuing to fall at the Circuit of the Americas, United States Grand Prix final practice still took place and the action proved to be brilliant to watch!
F1 second practice for the United States Grand Prix was cancelled on Friday due to the treacherous weather conditions, partly caused by the nearby Hurricane Patricia.
Despite the rain continuing to fall at an insane rate in Texas through Friday night and Saturday morning, FP3 took place as scheduled at 10:00am local time - even though the opening of the track gates was delayed to midday.
With FP3 times potentially deciding the grid for Sunday’s race (UPDATE: qualifying has since been moved forward to 0900 Sunday, local time) it was a busy session and the tricky conditions did produce some incredible action! Here were the best bits:
