7 suprisingly good drift cars in Forza Motorsport 6

Im sure you’re familiar with the Silvias, RX-7’s and 86’s beeing used as drift cars, but what if I told you there was another way?

Since I have been playing Forza Motorsport 6 since launch, I’ve had some good time to experiment with other cars. The following list contains the cars that was actually good, and some of these might be some of the best drift cars I own.

1. Lexus LFA

Since the LFA has the holy recipe for a good sportscar (front engined, rear wheel drive), It has actually been done before. Since you cant swap the engine (like the one in real life) you are stuck with the V10, which is just a big plus.

2. Mazda MX-5 Cup

Just like the LFA, this has also been done in real life (to see it click here ) This one is a little weird, as it grips up at higher speeds. This one will take some time to get used to, but once you get used to it, its pretty good.

3. Ferrari 575M Maranello

Just like the ones above, this one also has the holy recipe, but it hasnt been done in real life, yet.

4. Ferrari Challenge Stradale

This is one of the few mid-engined cars that actually works good as a drift car. If you are about to comment, saying that I missed the Lamborghini Murcielago ( which has been done before ) Then you’re wrong, I tried that, and it sucked as a drift car.

5. Cadillac XTS Limousine

Unfortunately, unless you have the Logitech Car Pack DLC, you wont be able to try this, but If you have, you would probably already know it’s a good drift limo ( thanks to AR12Gaming ).

6. Pegani Zonda Cinque Roadster

This is by far the most suprising of them all, and that is because it might be the best of them. Equipped with 1,100hp, racing slicks and full forza aero, this mid-engined hypercar is one unusual drift car. My advice would be, when tuning the car, to put the aero to full cornering. At higher speeds it gets loads of grip, but it has enough power to get the wheels spinning when you need them to.

7. Alfa Romeo 4C

Thanks to CT user Kerosyn for letting me know about this. To see it in action, click here.
