8 Things You Might Have Missed From The Brazilian Grand Prix

1. Donuts galore

Now they know that they can get away with it, drivers - more specifically, Sebastian Vettel - can't get enough of the tasty post-race donuts.

Vettel and Felipe Massa, in his final race for Ferrari, performed the celebrations at the end of the 71-lap race in front of a packed and enthusiastic crowd.

2. Wind blowin' through his hair...

Mark Webber ended his final F1 race in style by driving sans helmet to truly experience the sights and sounds of F1. After the race, Webber said:

"It was nice to take the helmet off for the final lap. In this sport it’s not always possible to give things a personal touch. We have the helmets on all the time, so the fans don’t always see a Formula One driver in a car without a helmet. It was nice to get it off and see the marshals and the fans; it was just a really nice thing to experience. I heard a lot of noises that I don’t normally hear."

3. Man down

Webber's final visit to the F1 podium didn't quite go to plan after he fell over, rather hilariously, while spraying the celebratory bubbly...

4. Run Romain, run!

The fact that the Interlagos circuit features very few access roads (it's an old circuit) meant Romain Grosjean was forced to run down the pit entry to return to his pit garage after his engine exploded on lap four.

5. Early exit

Valtteri Bottas retired from the GP after contact with Lewis Hamilton. His 2013 season came to an early end and strangely, he admitted after the race that he didn't realise he was one lap down on the Mercedes. He said:

"I didn't know that I was one lap behind him - I thought we were racing - but even though I was one lap behind I still would have tried to overtake."

6. Silly season continues

Gossip surrounding the 2014 grid continued on the weekend. The latest reports suggest that Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Perez will move to Force India, with Adrian Sutil switching to Sauber and Paul di Resta leaving F1 altogether.

At the back of the grid, Max Chilton is widely expected to stay at Marussia and GP2 racer Marcus Ericsson is being linked to a drive at Caterham alongside Giedo van der Garde. However, nothing is confirmed just yet, so watch this space.

7. 180 degree camera

The 180-degree camera, which Formula One Management trialled at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, really came into its own during the season finale in Brazil.

It was fitted to the Williams of Valtteri Bottas and provided fans with some great overtaking shots like the one above.
