Dragster Knocks Himself Unconscious In Utterly Bizarre Crash

As we've seen before, drag racing can often go horribly wrong. In this bizarre incident though, this drag racer has a massive crash before he's even set off on his run down the strip...

After completing a tyre-warming burnout, he starts to reverse back to the start line. For some reason though, he turns, then accelerates forwards, smashing the dragster straight into the concrete barrier. Knocked unconscious by the impact, the driver's foot is planted on the throttle, which sends plumes of smoke into the air as he inadvertently completes the mother of all burnouts. The driver's only reported injuries were a few broken ribs.
