It doesn’t get much closer in Monaco! Sebastian Vettel just kept his car out of the wall in practice. Rosberg went on to win the race, followed by Vettel and Hamilton. Read more about the race here.

F1 was in Monaco last weekend for the most prestigious race of the season. Traffic was a big problem for the top drivers as you’ll have heard when Kimi Raikkonen kicked off on the team radio.

In case you missed it, he says: “Where is the blue flag? Do I have to f**king try to overtake him or what?”

Will Power just missed out on scoring the 2015 Indy 500 win by one tenth of a second, the fourth closest finish in the event’s history. The victory went to Juan Pablo Montoya.

If you’re new to the Indianapolis 500, then you might not know about the post-race tradition of the winning driver drinking milk (or drinking it, then pouring the rest over his head).

Louis Meyer is regarded as the driver who started the tradition after requesting a glass of buttermilk following his 1933 Indy 500 win. He did the same thing in 1936, which led to a local dairy company getting involved after realising the marketing opportunity. It’s taken place almost every year since then.

The FIA World Rallycross Championship was back in the UK. It was a brilliant weekend at Lydden Hill - the cars are insane and there’s some great racing action. Petter Solberg won and extended his championship lead.

Jimmie Johnson lost the rear of his car during the Nascar Sprint Cup race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. He almost saved it, but ended up in the wall. Carl Edwards won the Coca-Cola 600 after a gamble to stay out and not pit for fuel.

When you crash in Monaco, it’s almost always a big one. Formula Renault 3.5’s Meindert van Buuren and Bruno Bonifacio found that out after contact at Turn 1.

9. You've won, aaaand it's gone

Lucas di Grassi dominated the Berlin ePrix. However, he didn’t hold onto the win for long. He was disqualified after his car was found to have been running a modified front wing. Jerome d’Ambrosio was promoted to first place.
