Brace Yourselves: Someone Has Stanced A Ferrari

If you thought stanced Subarus, Evos and Focus RSs were controversial, clearly you didn't think this far ahead. Pictures have surfaced of a stanced Ferrari 348, and we can't believe our eyes
Brace Yourselves: Someone Has Stanced A Ferrari

Do not adjust your set. Someone really has stanced a Ferrari. This, err, controversial 348 has surfaced at the Sapporo Custom Supercar Show in Japan.

It’s the combination of a car allegedly belonging to drift shop Slacker’s Haunt and the specialist tuners at FERS.Cru, who widened the bodywork and replaced the shocks with adjustable airbags. Check out that arch ‘gap’. You’d have to be a single-celled organism to get your shoe into that.

Brace Yourselves: Someone Has Stanced A Ferrari

It’s still a Ferrari, though. It’s red, exquisitely shiny and rides on stunning gold split rims. But there’s something fundamentally, inescapably wrong about it. Like an MR2-based fake 355, this just won’t let your eyes get comfortable.

Brace Yourselves: Someone Has Stanced A Ferrari

On the other hand, as weird as it looks, you could argue that since the 348 was never that practical in the first place the team in Hokkaido hasn’t committed _total _sacrilege. And at least it seems to have been well crafted. Time to open the floor to comments…

Hmm……everyone hates it. Its a Ferrari. And it’s stanced.

Get over it…personally everyone in CT has at least seen a stanced Ferrari, Liberty Walk, in games, in renders and as toys/display. It isn’t Rice, so stap.

They’re hating because [in the mocking voice they completely deserve]”It’s ruined a Ferrari and now it’s stupid and it can’t go anywhere and it’s cancerous and I wanna drink bleach”
(ahh, the words ‘cancer’ and ‘bleach’. Two normal words that the Internet has turned into 8-year-old-butthurts detectors)
IT IS ON GODDAMN BAGS.
The drivability remains completely intact.
(Next on CT: 8-year-olds hate on a McLaren that has been put under a car cover because now you can’t see outside and it’s undriveable and form vs function and what the fu-)
But yeah, let’s get butthurt because it’s fun to force people to accept our opinions as facts!

Visually, it’s not half bad. Logically, it’s bloody stupid (just like every other “stanced” car in the world).

I think it looks better than those stanced imprezas, evos, supras, and other usual target of stance. I think it suits the look of the car, and you rarely see these kind of car driven everyday at its maximum potential anyway. But, if everyone hates it, it’s just that car that shouts ‘zero fuqs given’

It’s Japan. You don’t expect the ordinary. Besides, ARMYTRIX made a YouTube video of a Ferrari F355 on AIRREX air suspebsion fitted with one of their exhaust systems.
