I read a book that talked about this, if I remember right…

Not much, everyone drove carefully for a while.

if you drive in europe you’ll also probably drive a car with steering on the left side but when you go to a country where they drive on the left you’re faced with problem, solution? buy this

Yeah! I’ve driven a lot in Europe. I’m perfectly used to it but to me the benefits of driving on the left are just so obvious. driving on the right does favor the wrong side. You should have your right eye dominant in all situations and your right hand looking after the wheel. Still….. what can you do and in any case it feels more baddass doing your Vin Diesel impression the right way round.

“Right hand is dominant”
Therefore driving on the right side is better, because you sit on the left side of the car and shift gears with right hand. :)

but a human is looking with both eyes on the same point, so it is technical safer to sit on the left, because that means the right eye is more in the middle of the car and can see better. So it is safer to drive on the right side…

I still think that the right side is the correct side.
-Mclaren f1 has the gear stick on the right
-Footrest
