964 turbo s is my favorite. but going back to 1964, $6490 is a S*itload of $$, you could buy 2 Impala SS for that price.

They add a spoiler, remove it, repeat. Well played Porsche.

DIdn’t they have to name it “911” rather than “901” because Peugeot had secured the right to any “90X”-combination?

Video won’t load properly for me. All I end up seeing is an old 911 changing colors.

Why people want new shape of everything when it’s upgraded? Porsche created a design and a layout what worked pretty well over decades. The look of the Porsche is a unique. Same as the Coca Cola bottle. If you see only it’s surround you recognize it. Can you figure out any other brands model just by it’s outline? Many things changes over time. Porsche 911 thankfully looks similar to the car what we loved when we were a child. And not like other cars, they just got better and better and we don’t have to find an other reamcar 15-20 years later. Bear in mind. Even the look never changed much, but every time a new 911 came out, it was the best sportscar in it’s category since 1963! No other manufacturer was able to achieve this.
