Bugatti's Latest Veyron Special Is The Brownest Way To Hit 254mph
If there's one car we don't need any more special editions for, it's the Bugatti Veyron. We've had the L'Or Blanc, Black Carbon, Edition Merveilleux, Vitesse; the list is endless. Regardless, Bugatti has given us another one: the Rembrandt. It's the latest car in the 'Legends' series, which is - you guessed it - a run of limited edition cars.
This one is an homage to Rembrandt Bugatti, the famous sculptor and brother of Ettore Bugatti. The upper part of the exterior has been coated in bronze-coloured carbon, while the lower part wears a light brown shade. Rembrandt's signature, meanwhile, is laser etched onto the fuel filler cap.
Underneath, it's the same car as the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. That means a mid-mounted 8.0-litre W16 engine, churning out 1184bhp and 1106lb/ft of torque. Performance is unchanged; you'll still dispatch 0-62mph in 2.6 seconds and hit 254mph if you can find a bit of tarmac long enough.
Predictably, the price is a fairly steep £1.8 million as is its availability - only three Rembrandts will be made.
