Chris Harris, Sabine Schmitz and David Coulthard 'Confirmed' As Top Gear Hosts

In a completely unexpected twist, Chris Evans has announced three new hosts for new Top Gear
Chris Harris, Sabine Schmitz and David Coulthard 'Confirmed' As Top Gear Hosts

After a very difficult gestation period it appears that the new version of Top Gear might not be as bad as many critics have made out. The Sun has reported that after much deliberation, Chris Evans has picked Chris Harris, David Coulthard and German racing driver Sabine Schmitz to join him as the show’s new hosts.

This decision hasn’t come easy, with The Sun reporting that this choice led to executive producer Lisa Clark (the replacement for Andy Wilman) and script editor Tom Ford leaving the show. A source for The Sun said that Lisa’s departure had “been a real shock” and caused “a lot of upheaval” within the production team.

Although the press has reported that Harris and Schmitz are complete ‘unknowns’, we know just how good this show could really be. It’s hard to predict just how the new hosts will interact on camera, but with this level of talent and online support, new Top Gear could be a force to be reckoned with!

So, is the announcement of three new incredible hosts enough to convince you to tune into the new show? Let us know!

Sabine is cool and all but they should’ve chosen someone like Mark Webber in my opinion….

I would be very sad if Harris stop making ‘Chris Harris on cars’ because of this. He needs his own show. Not someone to say him what to do

If these three host Top Gear it will look like Fifth gear, but with more drift and less stupid “practical car advice” stuff. However I doubt if they can have the same chemistry like Clarkson, Hammond and May….

I find it very hard to believe Chris Harris will want to be in the new Top Gear unless he’s being paid loads, I can imagine his personality clashing badly with Chris Evans. And secondly isn’t Michael still in a very bad state?

BBC is gonna realise how much of a mistake it was getting rid of the proper trio… Once they come back with amazon, BBC don’t stand a chance against them.. Don’t see why they are even trying to be honest :/

We have seen Sabine on tv before and she is absolute shyte. She is forcing herself to be funny, and she is not. She is not good looking either and also not a very good driver having seen her racing results. I think she’s already too famous for how mediocre she really is. CH is by far the best of the bunch. Keep him and DC and throw away the rest.

I agree with most of your points, but Sabine is a pretty good driver.. 2 wins of the 24hr at the Nürburgring, VLN champion, fastest lap at the Ring with a N/A vehicle, the list goes on.. Also she probably got more balls than most of us here, me included.

It’s like having the best car in the world with a Lada engine inside .I love all videos from Harris, his heretic driving style, Coulthart and his madness and Sabine, oh yes (her english sucks).
Still, Evans will ruin the show …
Harris + Needell + Coulthard would be a win-win.
