This Dinky Single-Seater EV Just Clocked A Record-Breaking 1.7sec 0-62mph Time

German Formula Student competitors Green Team just snagged the world 0-100km/h record with this incredible 1.779sec run

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a Formula Student car bagging the world 0-100km/h record. In fact, Green Team’s effort only just broke the previous record set by a fellow team from the series, which stood at 1.785 seconds. This new record is still unofficial, as it’s awaiting confirmation from Guinness.

These tiny race cars typically have a weight of around 160kg, and have an electric motor power each wheel.
