The Douchiest Car Features Available From The Factory

probably been said before, but too lazy to read all the comments… Here are my 2 problems with this article… some of these are valid points except:

1. Many cars have various traction control settings that allow for some slippage, the Focus is just the first to call it ‘Drift Mode’

2. As for the mustang, the feature is not called “burnout mode” it is called line locks… Which yes, can do some hilarious burnouts, but is also a very useful tool for drag racing, which is what these big pony cars are best at!

3. The exposed carbon fiber option on the Veyron isn’t expensive ‘Just because’ as this article insinutates, it is expensive because it is extremely difficult to get carbon fiber to look good while being just as rigid and light as its painted counterpart. When the carbon fiber is destined to be painted over, they can weave it and layer it in whatever way they need to to optimize the lightness and rigidity. When it is exposed, they have to work harder to make it look good while still maintaining the other aspects.

Ok i’m done now….

I would laugh if it turned out there was a bug in the software that could cause drift mode to turn itself on and refuse to turn off. You just know it’s in the code somewhere, laying in wait!

I don’t see what’s wrong with burnout or drift mode. Burn out just saves your rear brakes getting worn and to people who say it takes away the skill… There is no skill in doing a burnout. As for drift mode, it just makes an AWD closer to a rear wheel.. Like an actual drift car. It’s not like it’s driving itself and doing it for you

I agree on all of these but the Teak decking on the Rolls is beautiful.

Bullshit list…
The Porsche rear wiper actually has a history and is a classic Porsche optional… That means owners that ask for it care about automotive history. But nah, they douchebags…
The Breitling clock with tourbillon is a piece of mechanical art and jewelry… nothing douchey here, the fact we can’t afford it doesn’t make it less valuable.
The Rolls Royce teak deck is looking fantastic… If you don’t like it, opt it out of yours and let us alone.

Puddle lights are great for providing light to where you are stepping until you start with the emblems and crap. The light I like, the bragging about your car, not so much.
