If you want to work on your car yourself, then make sure you build up this list of tools, which will allow you to do most maintenance and many repair jobs!
« To be a good mechanic, work smart, not hard » …words of wisdom!
A Youtube app with a good internet connection.
I know getting DIY advice from the internet can be sketchy at times, but having the ability to watch a video to see exactly where all 8 bolts are or something is truly invaluable.
Hammer, torch, breaker bar, 6-point sockets and spanners. And a rust-inspection screwdriver.
I would suggest starting out with Master craft tools if you live in Canada, you can buy them in kits or individually. They come on sale every week (always browse thru spam flyers lol) and really inexpensive compared to branded tools.. The tools can handle most jobs but that’s all my opinion.
I feel like going with snapon is a little over the top for diy just the 3/8s rachet is 140 easy I would go with less expensive tool if I didn’t work on cars for a living
I once broke my radiator near the top hose, all i needed was duct tape for a quick repair before putting a new aluminum one
I am definitely digging the music.
If it’s a Toyota, you really just need a screwdriver set, and a 10mm socket..
