The First Full Trailer For The New Look Top Gear Has Landed

Believe it or not, we’re now on our third Top Gear line-up in the space of three years. Chris Evans lasted just one series at the helm, following which we had three stints focusing on Matt LeBlanc, Chris Harris and Rory Reid.
With the BBC capitalising on LeBlanc’s decision to revamp the show yet again, there’s a 27th series inbound which will see Harris retained and joined by former cricketer Freddie Flintoff and comedian Paddy McGuinness. Will the new presenter line-up on screen? We’ll have to wait until the series debuts this summer to find out for sure, although this first full trailer - which follows a preview of Top Gear series 27 posted a few months ago - gives us an idea.
In it, we see an old Jaguar XJ hearse take on a Mercedes-AMG E63 wagon (and later crash), a Ferrari 488 Pista and a McLaren 600LT tested on track, some sort of epic rainforest driving adventure involving an ultra-rare Matra Simca Bagheera, and much more besides.

Tonally, it looks like the show will move away from the pure car geekery it’s employed over the last couple of years, and more into light entertainment territory. With viewing figures for series 26 having been less than stellar, you can understand why the BBC is wanting to make Top Gear a little more mass market.
Former host presenter Jeremy Clarkson recently admitted he’s glad Top Gear is struggling. While his old show prepares up for its 27th outing, the 59-year-old is - perhaps unexpectedly - making a show about the environmental impacts of agriculture called ‘I Bought A Farm’.

I just hope that season 27 will bring on bigger and better things and I wish them luck for an epic season!
Looking forward to seeing Chris Harris in the Lotus 79. Dunno about everything else
Still not convinced about the presenters… they see that the only ones that do well are Harris and Reid, both car guys. Why not add just 1 more, e.g. Henry Catchpole, Alex Kersten, Alex Goy, etc?
They’re only beating a dead horse at this point
Just axe it
Bring back Rory and Matt!
We are not giving Kersten away!
thog dont caare
