The Ford F-150 RTR Muscle Truck Concept Wants You To Go Flying
The Ford F-150 is a pretty meaty truck at the worst of times, but just take a look at this RTR concept. You’ll want to wear your big boy pants.
Officially, this isn’t a real thing yet, but it’s hardly wild enough to make us think it’s a million miles away from production. What it is, is a serious chunk of ‘Murica. The Muscle Truck breathes through a 5.0-litre V8 that’s good for 600bhp and much volume.
It has plenty of extras to give it the kind of all-terrain expertise and seriously angry face that you’d expect. Upgraded RTR long-travel suspension will let you play on the dunes all day long, in tandem with epic 33-inch tyres.
In the press release for the RTR beefcake you’ll find a sentence that reads: “The RTR skid plate ensures the vehicle is protected during off-road adventures and occasional flying.” We kid you not. This is the pickup that wants you to aim for the stars… literally.
