Once on a road with two lanes in each direction I was driving in the left and stopped on a crossroad. An old man started to cross and he was nearly in front of my car when I saw a car overtaking all the cars behind me in the left lane (opposite direction). I saw in my mind how the car hits the old man, hoonked once so he can stop and in this moment the car overtook me. The old man came to my car and said 100 times: “THANK YOU FOR SAVING MY LIFE!”

The SUV an Merc ML would kill him immediately if it hited him.
