With all the hype around the so-called Holy Trinity of hypercars - the McLaren P1, LaFerrari and Porsche 918 Spyder - it’s been easy to let Koenigsegg slip from our collective minds. The Swedish manufacturer got a little salty about that recently, using stats to prove why the One:1 should definitely be in the conversation with the big three.

Well, if you read that post and fancied yourself a slice of the Koenigsegg action, boy do we have a treat for you. UK dealership SuperVettura has just taken delivery of the development One:1 used by Christian von Koenigsegg and his team to develop the hypercar, and is the vehicle that was displayed at the Geneva motor show in 2014.

To add to the exclusivity, this is the specific car that completed the fastest ever sprint to 186mph (300kph), as well as 0-300-0. It’s also the car used for the lap records of Spa Francorchamps and Suzuka. Furthermore, it’s the car I received a passenger lap in prior to my interview with Christian von Koenigsegg earlier this year, so I can officially confirm its speed can only be measured in expletives.

So how much will you have to stump up for this unique One:1? The rather significant sum of £4,000,000 ($6m), I’m afraid. That’s a hell of a lot of cash, but this is an extremely exclusive car.

It’s a prototype. It’s bound to sell higher than the original production car. I’d say the price is still somewhat justified.

Since the avarge kidney has a price $262,000… I suggest by start luring people in your basement and don’t stop untill you have got around 23 people in there. Then you saw them out and sell for a brand new Koenigsegg!

2014 Koenigsegg One:1 - Development Vehicle

The car that was used by the Koenigsegg factory to develop the extremely rare and extreme performance One:1 model, the worlds first Megacar. Only 6 production cars were ever built, plus one development car #00 which is the car we are offering today. (Chassis number #7106)
This vehicle was used to debut the One:1 programme at the Geneva Motorshow in 2014, and it was the star of the show. No small feat for a small manufacturer competing with the most powerful names with the largest budgets in the industry. However despite the project being kept a secret until the early days of Geneva, before arrival at the Motorshow, Koenigsegg had sold all 6 of the production One:1’s.

This One:1 has been used by Christian von Koenigsegg and his dedicated team as a test bed to develop ground breaking technology such as:
Active Pre-set up utilizing 4G Network and GPS Geo-Tagging
Koenigsegg Active Chassis
Koenigsegg Active Aero
Variable Turbo Geometry
3D Printed Titanium Parts
3D Printed Turbo Housing
Revolutionary New Carbon Lay Up Technology
At least 1360 BHP with 1,360kgs (World’s first car with over 1 Horsepower per kilo)
This actual One:1 is worlds fastest accelerating car to 300 Km/h, as well as 0-300-0 and it is the fastest production car to ever lap Spa Francorchamps and Suzuka. All these records were set using this exact car which makes the provenance and collectability of this car unique.

The car will be delivered with a extensive factory refresh and will be ready for delivery in January 2016. We understand that it will be possible to have this incredibly rare and historic vehicle registered under the show and display regulation in the U.S.

Price: 6.000.000.00 USD Net For Export*

You’d better hope they won’t take out the Clarkson toolbox when you use the warranty after you wrapped it around a pole. Or dry wheat bricks.
