This Guy Got His Jaguar E-Type Back 46 Years After It Was Stolen

New York resident Ivan Schneider has been reunited with his pride and joy decades after its theft in Manhattan

With over four decades passing since Ivan Schneider had his Jaguar E-Type stolen outside his Manhattan home, the prospect of ever seeing it again would have seemed ludicrously far-fetched. However, 46 years on, it’s actually turned up. The car was discovered during a routine check-up in a shipping container at the Port of Los Angeles, from where it was about to be shipped to its new owner in the Netherlands.

The car has seen better days, so now Ivan - overjoyed to be reunited with his former pride and joy - plans to have the car restored to its former glory.
