This Guy Is Proof That The Mulholland Highway Gives Zero Damns About Bikers

The Mulholland highway is well known for kids in daddy's car crashing while trying to show off for the cameras, but the road itself is bumpy as hell and very challenging for bikers. Look at the way it spits this poor guy off...

Props to the guy right behind him to maintain control! Not easy to react to something like that within that proximity and still maintain control yourself.

The thing I have to wonder is did the guy behind arguably cause that by pressuring him to enter at a speed he wasn’t comfortable with? :/

Glad to see him get up and be fine. Could have been much worse if he didn’t wear that gear

No prisoners??? He is damn lucky he got away with such a minor lowside. No injury, minor bike damage. Getting away with this much is a blessing when you treat public roads like a racetrack. Maybe this will stuff his chicken brain with enough wisdom to start riding with a safety reserve. Also the CBR in the back did great avoiding him, thank the brains that found it fit to equip bikes with ABS recently.

I want to say he was going about 35 mph or slower. There’s two reasons why he went down. First one, he said, “brand new tires.” Yeah brand new tires tend to be really slippery and that’s why you’re supposed to dirt them up or work your way into them. The second one? Skills, he had none, or he freeze up, everyone has bad days, he didn’t counter steer when he started loosing the rear end, on the contrary. He turned into the turn and then it was too late to counter steer.
