This Hayabusa-Engined Golf Buggy Might Be The Craziest Vehicle Ever
“I know, why don’t we fit the engine from the world’s fastest road-legal motorcycle to a golf buggy?” is a question any sane, well-adjusted person might counter with “Dave, have you been smoking that stuff, again?”. But not these guys. They said “Yep, great idea,” and set to work.
The result is, erm, interesting. Watch as its driver quite literally wrestles his way through a set of tyres, his feet stabbing at the throttle and brake pedals in equal measure.
We've very little info on this thing - but from the factory, a standard Hayabusa makes 172bhp from it's 1.3-litre four-pot. We conservatively estimate this is enough to rocket the buggy to a top speed of "aaaaaaaaaaaarrrggghhhh".
Golf buggies are not known for their fine-handling, either, and it looks as though the addition of a few Grand National's worth of horses has only made matters worse. Never have we seen anyone look as out of control as this bloke does astride his Franken-Buggy (well, maybe this guy).
