Joining Three Ladas Together Doesn't Make A Great Fidget Spinner
Forget your normal fidget spinners, this video of three conjoined Ladas is probably the only fidgety video you need to watch today
No one’s really sure how the fidget spinner craze started, but sales have levelled out and the toys and associated memes have already started to get old. But while they’re still sweeping the globe, here’s a video that’s slightly less annoying: Russian car tinkerers Garage 54 have created some sort of fidget spinner out of three beaten up Ladas.
It’s a great idea, but as this video proves, it doesn’t seem to work too well. Watching it, you’ll probably be thinking that it might prove more successful if all three drivers drove forward, and in the same direction. Although we’d wonder if the slightly shonky-looking welding would hold up under the strain…

FWD Ladas are really bad, they don’t have any redeeming features, only the 110 and later have those 16V engines that are good for around 300hp stock(internals wise).
RWD ones are quite good actually-you can swap out the underpowered 1300/1500cc engine and put a JZ or a RB and it will be the ultimate sleeper(people have done that)
This is actually a viable system (look up “Killough Platform), but only if it had very strangely-shaped wheels.
