This Jump Stunt Fail Is Why Fiat Should Stick To Building Boring Cars Only

The Fiat Punto is one of the most boring cars you can buy. Bar none. You know this, and so does Fiat. Which is why the brand attempted to up the car's cool by tackling a daring 65.6ft jump at the Fiat Triple-X in Prague. As is the way with Fiat, the stunt failed...

'I can fly!'

By the look of the hilarious footage, the Punto's driver hit the ramp slightly shy of the stunt's calculated speed. The hatch makes it across the gap (only just), hits the other side, but doesn't carry enough momentum to stop safely.

'I made it!'

After which, the inevitable happens: the car rolls down the ramp backwards and lands roof up on a safety cushion. Nobody was hurt, despite Fiat's pride taking quite a pounding...

'DAMN IT!'
