The key to a successful CarThrottle #blogpost

You know what’s beautiful about blog posts?

You know what’s beautiful about blog posts? They bring so much knowledge to the table and they’re so interesting that I love reading them, but let’s see how could YOU create the best #blogpost on CarThrottle!

1. Write about a thing that you’re passionate about

So far I think we can all agree that we’re passionate about cars on CT, but what you’re most interested in cars, what’s your favourite topic about cars? Either if it’s JDM, vintage vehicles or Maseratis, it doesn’t matter as long as you’re passionate about it!

Remember not to make it super extra long otherwise people will get scared by the length of it and won’t read it all the way to the end.

2. Choose the community wisely

We have lots of communities on CarThrottle, but make sure you choose the most related community for your #blogpost, that way a lot of people will see it and will enjoy your quality content!

3. Add beautiful images

It’s a known fact, we like beautiful images of Nissan GTRs here on CT and nothing makes an article more interesting than a GIF, even a video will blend in quite nicely!

If I can I always try to use some photos that I took like I did with the Porsche above 😄

4. Get familiarised with the Formatting Guide

The beauty sits in the details they say, it’s no different with amazing blogposts, this little set of tools adds so much more to it!

You’ll be able to do awesome stuff like writing in italic or bold or you can even add a link to the text, the possibilities are endless!

Now you know, it’s that simple! So I challenge you to create an amazing #blogpost about a topic that you like!

What if you want to post about a topic that has a community with a very small following?

Then you could maybe put it in the “Blog” community. That way more people will see it.

Is there a way to add a post to more than 1 community? I always file that as #justcarguythings but seems halfassed.

There’s no way you could add a post to more than one community. If you actually post something multiple times to different communities it’s considered a repost and will be deleted by the moderators.
