This Lamborghini Huracan Was Sliced In Half During A Massive Crash
The shocking, fiery aftermath of a crash which split a Huracan in two in Chicago can be seen in this dramatic footage
This shocking crash happened near Grant Park in Chicago on Saturday. According to eyewitness accounts cited by NBC, the Lamborghini Huracan was struck by another vehicle - almost certainly the mangled Lincoln seen in the middle of the intersection - sending it flying into a pole.
The force of the impact split the car in two, with the engine and rear wheels breaking away from the cockpit safety cell - something we’ve seen happen before in numerous mid-engined supercar crashes.
The injured driver was carried away from the car seconds before it exploded. He was conscious when taken away in an ambulance, but there have been no further reports about his condition.
Local authorities are currently investigating the crash.

Lamborghini ripped in half
Lincoln just some front end damage
just a note: All modern Mid-engined cars are designed to split in half if they get hit on the side hard enough. It was because of the Lamborghini Diablo’s ferocious reputation. A couple years ago a red Diablo Roadster was speeding in Johannesburg at 3AM (c’mon it’s a Lambo, how would you resist the urge), as the Diablo went around a curve, it’s lost control, not noticing a security car waiting at the upcoming intersection, the Diablo hit the car sideways with the fuel-tank’s side first and instantly exploded into a ball of fire, killing both the driver of the Diablo and the 4 occupants of the other car. the only trace of the Diablo’s original colour, was a small smidge of red on the front bumper, while the rest of the car was burnt to a crisp. the Diablo did not split in half upon impact, if it did, the people might have still been alive.
Since when Ferrari made huracan?
When you’re in a movie where there is a cliché about damage happening to something after someone got pulled out of that something…
Lambo’s version of the epic split.
“They shouldn’t be moving him though” => stay away from (non-car) girls when having a crash !
Poor Lincoln
30mph limit, sure
That was one sick burnout!
That poor Ferrari
