Love The Cars In GTA? Here's Your Chance To Own One

If you were a fan of the Banshee sports car in Grand Theft Auto III, we have some good news for you. Not only is the must-steal motor back in GTA V, the guys at Rockstar Games have teamed up with West Coast Customs to create a real-life, working version. And it’s up for grabs through a competition (link below).

There’s no official word on what this one-off creation is based on, but judging by the proportions and the interior, it’s almost certainly a older Dodge Viper. That means a hefty V10 up front with basic but entertaining tail-happy handling.

New panels were fabricated using a set of molds cut and machined especially for the job. And we have to say, it’s pretty damned similar to the on-screen version. The interior meanwhile is festooned in carbonfibre bits, a ton of speakers (this is West Coast Customs, remember) and several Banshee logos.

Just remember, if you win this car, you can’t drive around shooting out the window like in the game. The authorities tend to take a dim view of that.
