Maserati Gran Cabrio MC Hammer

Maserati has pulled the bed sheets from its new Gran Cabrio MC, and “My Oh My”, ain’t she pretty?

Based on the Granturismo MC Stradale coupé, the MC runs a meaty 4.7-litre V8, which churns its 454bhp through a six-speed automatic ‘box.

Special features of the MC include a slick spoiler to impress the ladies (as well as to add downforce) and the availability of a carbonfibre finish.

Oh, the new car’s also 48 millimetres longer than the GranCabrio and GranCabrio Sport, but no one really cares about that.

While Maserati hasn’t revealed official performance details, we’d expect it to come just shy of the coupé’s 188mph top speed and 4.5sec 62mph blast off.

Because you now have MC Hammer in your heads, this one’s for the ladies…
