the f*ing clutch
Happened when I had a Honda (yes i know i know…but it was 3.0 V6). I unlocked the car, opened the trunk and placed my luggage and jacket inside. Closed the trunk. And after one step away from the rear to the driver side door I heard “click”. Doors were locked. No problem right, just that the keys were in the jacked pocket… inside the trunk.I have always hated system like this. If You unlock the car and do not open the driver side door before opening / closing other doors the car locks itself.The car was 2000 Accord Coupe 3.0 V6 manufactured in Ohio, USA for EU market. So I guess this crap system is an American thing.
When I finally got the carb cleaned and reinstalled (it was really dirty and wasn’t giving enough fuel to keep the car running when sitting in drive). Only to find that now the car won’t start because the starter is now dead. So now I need a new starter.
When my daily threw a rod today. Every time opportunity knocks, it’s my engine.
