A New Ford Focus ST Is Happening, And It'll Look Like This
Less than 24 hours on from the reveal of the all-new Ford Focus, CT’s favourite Internet renderer X-Tomi Design managed to churn out a pretty awesome-looking virtual RS version. The only thing is, we don’t know if that’s going to happen IRL. There have been rumours, but nothing concrete just yet.
But a fourth-generation Focus ST? That’s something definitely on the cards, and sure enough, X-Tomi has since sorted a render for that too. In orange, naturally.
As for what will power it, we can’t be sure, although there have been suggestions that Ford will squeeze a mad 275bhp out of a dinky 1.5-litre inline-three for the car. For now, the most powerful fourth-gen Focus packs 179bhp from an engine of the same size and cylinder count, related to the triple found in the incoming Fiesta ST.
Growing up on a diet of World Rally Championship highlights and lengthy Gran Turismo 2 sessions, a life in cars was as good as inevitable for Matt.
