With a boosty 3.8-litre flat-six sending a monstrous 690bhp exclusively to the rear wheels, the current 911 GT2 RS is not a car for the faint of heart. That’s what makes a lap like this so special: the driver in this Auto Bild Sportscars test is seen wrestling with the Porsche on the way to a production car lap record at the Sachsenring in Germany.
The time? A 1min 26.61sec effort, faster than a Porsche 918 Spyder, Mercedes-AMG GT R and a McLaren 720S.
