Should Our BMW M2 Longtermer Be A Manual, Or An Automatic?
This September, a BMW M2 will be joining TeamCT's long-term test fleet. But what kind of gearbox should it have? We want you to help us decide!
Recently, we enjoyed a very entertaining week with a BMW M2, which saw us bomb down the autobahn to the Nurburgring N24 and go for a lap of the Nordschleife. Since we’re greedy, we still wanted more time with the M2, and fortunately, we’ve been granted our wish: this September a BMW M2 will be joining Car Throttle’s long-term test fleet, alongside ‘our’ Honda Civic Type R and another awesome car which is set to arrive in the coming weeks.
Whatever happens the M2 will be a Long Beach Blue example, but we have been given a choice of transmissions: the six-speed manual, or the seven-speed dual-clutch. To help us make our decision, we want to know what kind of M2 you’d rather see. Get voting!

Well just be realistic. Manual sound good and being petrohead you shoud hail manual and blah blah…if we are talkimg new BMW, autos are simply better.
I agree that bmw autos are better but id still take manual for a straight six tho.
Why not both
Manual
Manual!
Do you even have to ask? Get the one with the man pedal xD
Manual
everyone gonna say manual, but I would be interested to see what the DCT is like…
Was this the one with the crap shifter?
DCT, i test drove one and its really nice, plus it might help’guide’ some CTzens to asccept that automatic transmissions have their place
BMWs DCTs are superior to their manuals
You mean their manuals are even worse?
