Take A Look Behind The Scenes Of Fast 8 Filming In Cuba
With relations between the USA and Cuba easing, the latest Fast and Furious film has become the first Hollywood feature to be shot in the Caribbean country in decades. Here's a behind-the-scenes look
Thanks to the far reaching commercial and financial embargo put on Cuba by the United States in the early 1960s, it’s been impossible to shoot a Hollywood film in the fascinating Caribbean nation for decades. However, with restrictions easing in recent years, the Fast 8 crew have been able to film part of the latest F&F feature in the Cuban capital of Havana. Earlier this year, filming took place in Iceland, although not without incident.
Fast 8 will be released on 14 April 2017, followed up by two further instalments to create a 10 film ‘saga’.

I’m really concerned they’re going to ruin this franchise by dragging it out so long. Fast 7 ended so beautifully, I hoped they’d leave it there. Now they’re going to keep trying o get bigger and bigger (which was already a problem with the last two), and they might just become ridiculous.
Those few shots look okay though. Real drag racing in a real old-school country. Maybe they’ll fix things up.
They’ll all drive lada swapped american classics?
All the f*cking American classics I have ever wanted will now be in the movie!
I hope this will be more racing and less mission impossible.
i saw that primer 50 chevy with no front end, SHE NEEDS LOVE
WTF, I’m sorry but it’s like cars have become a minor thing in FF films and they only show them in the trailers…
The overhyped festival of mediocrity continues. Joy of joys
I couldn’t agree more
“From Vin Diesel to Vin Diesel” He’s making a movie that he wants…

As long as they pay respects to Brian, I’m fine with it.
