Today's community question: Tomorrow morning I’ll be sitting down with Andy Palmer, the CEO of Aston Martin. What should I ask him?

Aston Martin CEO Andy Palmer has overseen the development of the hardcore GT12, the track-only Vulcan and the new turbocharged DB11. The company is going from strength to strength, and so far, we like what we see.

So now that we have this golden opportunity to sit down with him, what questions would you like me to ask? Let us know and we’ll try our best to cover them all!

Great! I want to ask two things:
1) What about midlle engined supersport by Aston Martin? Is there interest or some plans to build something like this? I think, that flat midlle engined Aston Martin sportscar could be great!
2)(question direct to Andy) What do you think about the future od Gran Turismo cars? Do you think the sales of GT are threatened by SUV s? What do you think about evolution of GT cars in closest years, how could engines of theese cars evolve? And, at the end, what do you think about hybrid technologies in GT cars?
PS: Give him my thanks for saving manual transmission. ;)

I would like to know wether it’s possible that there will be a roadster to compete with the MX-5 or the Alfa Romeo Spyder in the future? I’d love to see Aston Martin develope one

Good question but I don’t think they would build one becuase the price would have to

The price would have to be competitive with the mx-5 and then people would call it “the poor man’s aston” and it might sell poorly as a result. They would also probably price it higher than any competitive cars like they did with that Toyota IQ remake at 50 grand

Ante sina ante

The world’s automotive is emerging recently, with numbers of new supercars and SUVs are being launched these years. Many of those manufacturers are being accused for not being a passionate, and only seeks for profit instead of a very great looking compassionate cars (like Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond’s view on the Lambo Huracan). I would like to know how Aston Martin handle this issue, and what kind of strategy that Aston Martin is trying to imply for the next decade due to this issue. Thank you.
