Today's Community Question: Which car stereotypes are the most unwarranted?
The automotive community is a supportive network of car guys/girls who all share the same passion for four wheels. But that doesn’t stop us disagreeing from time to time, with many of these disagreements stemming from common stereotypes.
The automotive community is a supportive network of car guys/girls who all share the same passion for four wheels. But that doesn’t stop us disagreeing from time to time, with many of these disagreements stemming from common stereotypes. I mean, how many times have you heard that ‘MX-5s are for hairdressers’ or that ‘all Hondas are ricers’?
Granted these quips can be funny, and they’re usually made in good jest (we’ve done it plenty), but we want to know which stereotypes CTzens think are unfair and undeserved? Let us know in the comments below!

I will say that MX-5’s are not necessarily for hairdressers, but if you drive one you can’t take yourself too seriously. Look at Alex. Also myself. Both clown gym rats.
That BMW drivers don’t use turn signals, that’s more common of audi drivers
“Oh you drive a nice car, and are younger than me.” “Your parents must’ve bought it.”
You want stereotypes just comment something you did once on 1320 videos, yeah there’s a reason I don’t follow that page anymore.
I drive a BMW and I drive sensibly. I always use indicators and I respect other road users. And no I don’t mean hazard lights or indicating for no reason
That ALL bmw drivers are douchebags
All BMW’s don’t have indicators/have indicators that don’t work..
All Toyota Prius drivers are tree hugging, homosexuals who drinks green tea and use words in everyday conversation like photosynthesis..
“All Subaru drivers vape”
Rotary is dead.
