A Town In The Netherlands Has The Geekiest Traffic Lights You'll Ever See
You won't often see us getting excited by traffic lights, but the sensor-based technology used for signals in 's-Hertogenbosch (nope, that's not a typo) is genuinely impressive, and can reduce waiting times for cars, bikes and pedestrians alike

i know a better technologie: cars have green, bikers have red.
Yeah, or nah
As far as i know these kind of sensors are in the ground all around the places..
Area around my work also has them, even if it’s jammed with trucks the waiting times are quite low.
We have SOME sensor based traffic signals in the UK, but none work quite so slick as these
Well damn, that was a boring video
And that’s a Disklok for the car jumping the red light.

How to become a meme on CarThrottle.
I hope the mayor of my county sees this and is like:
Some parts of Europe are just so clever
Not Britain though…
I know a point were cycle have green and cars from the left and right too. Not a great combo. Also these lights are not everywhere.
I live in the netherlands. but here I just have to wait half an hour before the light turns green…
Yupp heb het zelfde probleem, en altijd als ik ergens snel heen moet..
For me its pretty normal. I go to school there.
Dit dus he bussen worden ook rustig overal voor getrokken hahaha
The same system is in Poland, Gdansk

Yeah come back when you have tested it in new york and in mexico, then you get my approval,
What if there is a bus stop at the lights(like most of london)? what do you do then?
