The Toyota GT86 Convertible Eagle Has Landed

These are the first images of 2014's hottest new car, the Toyota FT-86 Open. While this remains a concept car ('to gauge public reaction') that we'll see at the Geneva motor show next week, the chances of this thing hitting our shelves in time for summer 2014 are good. Very good.

Which is excellent news, because this '86 convertible looks fantastic and will no doubt echo the coupe's brilliance, albeit with a healthy dose of Vitamin D.

The FT-86 (meaning Future Toyota) features an electric retractable fabric roof, which folds away behind the rear seats. Integrated into the roof is a glass rear screen.

Features of the FT-86's cabin include white leather seats, yellow carpets and a blue coloured dashboard and door cards.
