When we were kids, we begged our parents to drive the family car. Of course, we were shot down by mum and dad and given a toy steering wheel to play with, right? Not so in Russia - the parents of this 8-year-old girl are a little more lenient...

According to investigations by the BBC, the girl - who was given windscreen washer bottles to reach the pedals - is encouraged to go faster (despite snow-lined roads), reaching speeds of over 60mph! Naturally, this brilliantly shocking video is uploaded to YouTube for us to enjoy.

While her snow driving skills are excellent however, she's certainly some way off this 12-year-old karting champ's skills...
