Try Not To Cry As You Watch This McLaren P1 Going Up In Flames
This P1 was filmed on fire in Colnbrook, Berkshire, and the footage is rather distressing...
This is definitely one of those lie down on the floor, try not to cry moments. We do see supercars go up in flames from time to time, but it’s not often something as rare as a McLaren P1 ablaze - just 375 of the things were made, after all.
The car was spotted on Poyle Road in Colnbrook, near Slough, at which point the flames had already spread to a significant portion of Ron’s finest. The damage must have been extensive by the time the emergency services arrived.
The cause of the fire looks to have been a fuel leak, with a wet patch - itself partially alight - seen leading up to the stricken P1 in the video.
Thankfully, the owner is thought to have escaped uninjured.

i can hear the owner crying from here..
Am I the only person that when a new supercar gets destroyed I don’t care too much, but when a Miata or Silvia gets destroyed, I break down?
I will just cry :(
Is that not one of McLarens own cars?
I can’t stand or see a car getting crushed
So that’s what ‘F1 inspired’ means . . .
Damn son! It already is destroyed, no need to burn them even harder! 😂
I need some eye bleach :(
