An Undisguised Aston Martin DB11 Has Been Caught Out In The Wild

We were going to have to wait until the Geneva Motor Show to see the Aston Martin DB11, but thanks to this cheeky spy shot, we’re getting an early glimpse. It was snapped during what appeared to be a closed-road promo video shoot in Spain, before appearing on Autojunk.nl.

It still has a recognisable Aston shape, with a similar roof design to the DBX crossover concept and detailing at the rear taken from the DB10 created especially for the latest James Bond film. It’s the front we’re more keen to look at, however, to see how Aston’s trademark grille has been interpreted for the new car.

Engine-wise, we can expect the DB11 to run Aston Martin’s new 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12, running around 600bhp. It should be joined by an AMG-sourced V8 later on, while all cars are anticipated to run Mercedes-Benz electronics as a result of Gaydon’s technical partnership with Stuttgart.

What do you think of the new DB11’s shapely rear?
