If you could choose one racecar to give a good thrashing, a DTM machine isn't a bad way to go. These German touring cars are technical showcases, with carbonfibre chassis, highly complex aerodynamics and a 480hp 4.0-litre V8.
So, naturally, Chris Harris jumped at the chance to have a go in BMW Factory Motorsport's M3 DTM car.
In the last two DTM seasons, BMW has bagged two constructors' titles and one drivers', so this thing has some immense pedigree.
DTM racing may not be quite as scrappy and exciting as it was in its late 80s to early 90s heyday, but the current cars are massively impressive, and are a joy to watch being given a good track workout.
Growing up on a diet of World Rally Championship highlights and lengthy Gran Turismo 2 sessions, a life in cars was as good as inevitable for Matt.
