You Can't Help But Love A Fiat Cinquecento With A 1400cc Superbike Engine

This Cinquecento is powered by a high-revving inline-four from the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R

The average Fiat Cinquecento is unlikely to grab the attention of a petrolhead. But, what you see here is quite clearly no average Cinquecento.

It has a squat stance. Fat slick tyres. A stripped-out interior with a central driving position. Oh yeah, and it also has a 1.4-litre inline-four superbike engine pinched from a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R.

There's not a whole lot of Cinquecento left in this thing...

It develops 250bhp according to the uploader, and will happily rev to 12,000rpm. It sounds amazing from both the exterior and onboard shots as we see it charge around Italy’s Castelletto di Branduzzo circuit.

It’s cool and all but It feels like the fiat 1x/9s in the background should be superior to it
