in UK they say Vauxhall in Germany they say Opel
UK: Vauxhall
Rest of the World: Opel
That’s how this matter goes down.
Years ago Hyundai ran multiple ads on TV saying “Hyundai, like Sunday”. I still hear about 3 or 4 different pronunciations of it from people.
Interesting how the Japanese pronunciation of Mazda is the same as the American pronunciation.
I thought Americans say it as two syllables as maaz-daa
Mazada?
That Korean girl, though
She was Korean
That Korean girl looks like she’s half white half korean.
Explains why she’s hot as hell, she’s got the best of both worlds
I dare any non-Portuguese speaker to correctly say the name of deceased Brazilian carmaker Gurgel😆
I’m going to guess Giur-gel
i say most of these correctly, except BMW and Mercedes
Hi - und - DIE!
For some reason Europeans always pronounce Chevy “Opel.”
Or, in the case of the Brits, “Vauxhall.”
Chevy and Opel and Vauxhall are completely different companies, in the uk anyway, Chevy is Chevy and vauxhall is Vauxhall
I was correct on Mazda (ma-tsu-da) and Hyundai
Try saying Mazda with three syllables outside of Japan, people would just look at you in confusion
I’d put a picture of the face they’d pull, but CT is refusing me to add a picture
