A Brief Overview of the Secret Cars of GT Sport and How to Get Them!

Hello, fellow CTzens, if, like me, you are still playing the now more than one year old Gran Turismo Sport on your PS4 - which you really should, because it’s excellent, because through regular updates it is slowly but surely becoming something like GT 7, and because us, PS4 gamers are not spoiled by the amazing Forza games - or maybe you are just getting into it, you might be interested in these secret cars to spice up your collection!

Now it is no new phenomenon that a GT game has secret cars. Either by means of cut content, which avid and savvy gamers have brought back from leftover files, or conscious easter eggs - most famously perhaps the all-black race cars of GT4, popping up in the used car lot for a limited time -, and Sport is no exception.
However, there are not so many secret cars here, they are all intentionally there, and by design are nothing radically, essentially new to the game, like a well-known and loved entirely new car model, so you don’t rip out your hair out of frustration for not having it.

For the purposes of this list we define any car that you cannot just buy at Brand Central as secret cars. Here they are:

Safety Cars

Safety cars include: Nissan GT-R, BMW M4, and Mercedes AMG GT.
The Nissan can be unlocked by getting all gold medals in the Driving School, the other two must be purchased in Miles Exchange for mileage points, when they are available. They usually cost 5000 points, and are available in multiple colours. They all have working lights!

Gr.3 Road Cars

Gr.3 cars are modified for racing, but some of these have Road Car versions, which are more powerful, look really cool, and are a treat to race against other road cars.
These are: Lancer Evo X, Impreza WRX STI, Mazda Atenza, Mustang GT, Corvette C7, Alfa C4, and Peugeot RCZ.
They can also only be bought in Miles Exchange, when available, they usually cost 5000 points, and you can get them in multiple colours.

Le Mans Winning Audi R18 TDI

But you can already buy this 2011 race car in Brand Central, can’t you? Yes, but not this exact one!
You can buy AN Audi R18 from 2011, but that is not THE Audi that won the 24-hour race. How do we know? Because this one, while initially looks similar, has a different name in the game, and has all the small battle scratches to prove its trying time at the track!
You can only get this version as a random spin reward for a daily workout or getting all gold on a circuit in Circuit Experience. I don’t have this car yet, the pictures are from Reddit.

That is all CTzens, I hope it was informative, happy collecting and game on!

Yeah, it really didn’t have enough at launch, but monthly free updates of cars and tracks have helped the situation. :)

I completely understand, it is a brilliant game, but you will have to get a PS4, it is not on PC unfortunately. :)

I so badly want to try GTS or the GT in general but I already have an XBOX so getting a PS4 is a little bit much. It does look good though, scapes, car variety and graphics are fantastic just from what I can see.

Yes, I also love Forza from the bottom of my heart, and some day I will make up for not owning an Xbone, and play the hell out of the current gen Forzas, but the graphics of GT Sport are stunning, and even more importantly, the simulation model is just the best on console. Plus it truely oozes love and passion for cars. If you ever get a PS4, it really is a must! :)

Yes, the Veneno! :) I have 100%-ed career, and now just keep up with it as new tracks get added to circuit experience. I am also trying to get the Audi, the frustrating thing is that the game already gave me 2 of the regular R18! :D
