Drift as a 2017 Mercedes AMG GTR

In the new movie the decepticon turned autobot “Drift” is a Mercedes AMG GTR. He has previously been shown in the forms of a Helicopter and A Bugatti Veyron SS. That’s a big step down in performance but the GTR is definitely no worse.

Bumblebee as a Custom 2016 Chevrolet Camaro

Bumblebee is one of my favourite characters in the series and is back as, you guessed it, a Camaro. Through the years he has flicked back and forth between generations of Camaro and Firebird. This year’s Bee comes as a 2016 Camaro, replacing the ‘67 Camaro from the previous movie. The Camaro comes in the traditional black on yellow paintjob, as it has in previous movies.

Barricade as a Very Sexy Ford Mustang

Barricade the decepticon has been part of multiple previous Transformers movies. He plays the Police Mustang in Transformers 5. He has previously been depicted as Mustangs and a Saleen in movies such as “Transformers (2007). As I have said above, this is a very sexy Mustang.

Crosshairs as a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

Crosshairs returns in Transformers 5. He seems to be pretty much the same car as he was in the previous film. The autobot Crosshairs was introduced to the franchise in 2014’s Transformers: Age of Extinction. He played a bright green Chevrolet Corvette Stingray with a huge wing.

Hot Rod as a 2017 Lamborghini Centenario

In the new Transformers film, the AutobotHot Rod (aka Rodimus) is a 2017 Lamborghini Centenario. And this isn’t any old Centenario, it is Britain’s first Centenario. It was first spotted being filmed for the movie in London in September of 2016 and has since been filmed all over YouTube.

A McLaren 570S and Aston Martin DB11 have also been spotted during filming in London, however their exact characters are unconfirmed. At least these two vehicles are super exciting and the cars which are currently known to be in the film interest me. We just have to wait and see when the film is released.

Transformers 5 is set to be released on 23rd June and the list above are the cars I know of so far. If I’ve missed any, tell me and I’ll add them in. Furthermore, I will add all cars in once the film has been released and all cars revealed.
