Every Pagani Huayra ever made.

My Pagani Zonda blog post seemed to go down quite well with you guys, so I might as well do a Huayra version. Personally, I don’t like the Huayra anywhere near as much. The V12 sounds so bloody flat. There’s a lot of noise, but it’s not good noise, like the Zonda. Anyway, lets get on with the show.

Huayra

In 2011, 12 years after the Zonda C12 was first shown, Pagani unveiled the Huayra. Its first ever replacement, also named after a type of wind, had been in development under the C9 name since 2003, when the Zonda Roadster was first launched. It kept a Mercedes V12 with rear wheel driver, however this time it’s turbocharged. Damn. No more screaming revs, no more instant power delivery. However, there is 720bhp on tap, which is still 30bhp less than the 760s, but it can do 0-60 in 3 seconds and 230mph. There are some unique styling features as well, such as the gullwing doors and aero flaps. An onboard computer constantly monitors ever millimeter of the car, just like a jet fighter, and moves the flaps to increase braking power or downforce in the corners. Inside, the actual cockpit is a lot larger, and has a lot of glass overhead, making it feel a lot more spacious. It also has LED mood lights that can be preset by the driver, which is cool and gives the car a futuristic feel. In its various guises 100 Huyras are being built, not including BCs or Roadsters. I think. The above Huayra is the first one ever made by the way.

Dinista

Three years after the first Huayra, Pagani decided to make three imroved Huayras for the Chinese market. Performance wise, it’s exactly the same, but visually you have a really cool little dorsal fin, which I think looks mega, a subtly changed front bumper, and a weird aero plate bolted to the side. One is blue carbon with a black interior and an Italian flag theme over the roof, another is purple carbon with Italian flags again, but with a bright turquoise interior, and the final one is gold carbon with red dragon details. Pretty cool.

La Monza Lisa

One of the more famous Huayras. Owned by Kris Singh (who also owns a Lamborghini Veneno, Koenigsegg Agera RS and a Huayra BC), this is basically a normal Huayra. Seriously, the only changes are the stripes. This car was upgraded to a Tempesta after a crash in Miami (more on that later).
Please excuse the poor quality photo.

Gemini Uno

Another “One Off” that is basically just a fancy colour scheme. It was built for one guy who lives in Greenwich, America, and features a pretty nice blue paintjob with a brown interior. The only difference is the wheels, which are titanium instead of aluminium.

Scozia

Another one-off made for another client in Greenwich. This was done for an American who is proud of his Scottish roots, and therefore has little Scottish flags under the rear flaps and a tartan interior. Ohhh, I love tartan. But anyway, apart from that, it’s standard.

The King 1 Of 1 Of 1

Owned by Sparky18888 on Instagram (who also has a Huayra BC), this is one of the most famous Huayras, and in my view on of the worst. There is literally no difference to the normal Huayra, apart from the horrific paintjob. Sorry Sparky, but the front and rear are horrid.

730S / Da Vinci

Touchy subject here. It was commissioned by well-known YouTuber Salomondrin, who had it for just FIVE MONTHS before selling it. That’s probably less time than it took to make. Anyway, this blue carbon and gold car was brought by David Lee, who is well known for collecting Ferraris. He then sent it back to the factory to have the Tempesta pack fitted (more on that later) and he had it renamed the Da Vinci edition. However, when Josh Cartu (who I can’t really figure out why he is so bloody well known and rich just from GT racing) visited Lee’s collection, and made fun of the fact that Salomon sold his car. This then #triggered Salomondrin’s fans, and as far as I can tell Salomondrin knows some dirt on David Lee, who tried to get TheGoldenJew22 (you know, the guy with some actual driving talent who supplied the weed in Salomondrins Hot Box Hot Topic) fired from his last job for stuff he didn’t do. Ahh, beef is confusing. Saying that, am I the only one who thinks that Salomondrins channel quality has gone massivley down since he stopped doing LTACY?

Hermès Edition

Another one off, this one made for @MannyKhoshbin (yes, the one whose Koeingsegg Agera RS “Gryphon” was crashed). This one is basically a Tempesta (more on that later), but with some funky grilles and brown carbon. The interior is done up like a Hermès handbag, which is different.

Futura

This is a cool one off. It’s blue carbon, with some cool styling features. Underneath, it’s a Tempesta (it’s next I promise), but it has little “L” shapes on the sideskirts and front splitter. It also has fixed, Zonda C12 style wings on the back, which I like very much. It also has new wheels with electric blue details, and the interior is shocking blue as well. Overall, it’s pretty cool.

Pacchetto Tempesta

The Pacchetto Tempesta (or, if you don’t speak Italian, Storm Package) Is an upgrade pack that can be applied to regular Huayras. For your extra £130K, you get a new splitter, diffuser, wheels, suspension and exhaust. All of this is actually functional as well, so that it actually goes quicker.

Huayra BC

An Italian called Benny Caiola brought the first ever Pagani, a C12. He was so impressed that he sent a letter of gratitude with a $1000 check included, so Pagani could treat his mechanics to a nice dinner. After Benny passed away in 2010, Pagani decided to name his next car after him. The BC is the most extreme Huayra yet - 790bhp and 1218kg. That is mad. The exterior has been completely redesigned, with a brand new bumper, racecar style diffuser, and a huge wing. It still keeps the flaps as well! The gearbox is a thing of beauty, the way that it is all exposed. 20 will be made, including the…

Macchina Volante

Commissioned by @lamborghiniks, this is a variant of the BC. Underneath the blue carbon bodywork it’s a regular BC, but there are a few styling differences. Firstly, there’s a big roof scoop, which only one other Huayra has. Then you’ve got the Cinque style side intakes, which are not seen on any other Huayra. Noice.

Huayra Pearl

It’s a one off, that is very similar to the Huayra Futura, but has added cooling ducts on the front clamshell. It also has the small side diffuser found on the Dinista. Also, the C12 inspired wings are much larger. It also sports a massive roof scoop. This was a casualty of the mental Paris traffic, and it took 6 months to get repaired.

Roadster

It took six years to get here after the launch of the Huayra, but boy was it worth the wait. In my opinion, this is one of the best looking cars ever made. The reason it took so long to get here was because they treated it as a completely new model, and started redevelopment of the project in 2013. Amazingly, it’s 80kg less than the coupe. It also has 33bhp more than the coupe, and the wonderful exposed gearbox from the BC. Visually, there are few differences: a new front bumper, grilles, and that beautiful V shape made by the engine cover. It actually comes with two roofs: one glass and carbon one (shown in the picture above) for year round use that doesn’t fit in the car, one fabric and carbon one that can be stored in the car incase you go out without the glass one. Overall, this is easily my favorite Huayra. The only way you could improve it would to be to add the Zondas V12…

Anyway, thanks very much for reading. What’s your favorite Huayra? By the way, as more Huayras are shown off, i’ll try to update this thread.

The thing I don’t really like about the Huayra is the engine. It just doesn’t seem to have much soul. I’d rather see something like a Lamborghini, Ferrari or Aston V12 instead of the AMG unit.

This list isn’t a list of every Huayra ever made ever. Like, at all.

Not sure if you were only listing the different editions of the Huayra, because even then, you’re missing a few. And if you were actually listing every Huayra, the list should of 100 items. Just saying this because I’m a really hardcore Pagani enthusiast, and it kinda bugs me a bit.

Also, Roger’s Huayras are the best in my opinion. I had the opportunity of seeing his BC in person a few weeks ago and I love it. Can’t wait for his Huayra Roadster.
