#whatdoyouthink about this McLaren F1 competing TVR Cerbera speed 12 (the hypercar that was forgotten)

With a top speed of 240mph matching the F1 with its massive 800 hp 7.7 litre V12 but in my opinion this car is forgotten about as it’s in no games, last time I saw it it was in forza 3 and it’s rather rare as only 1 remains (insured) on the uk roads today yep 1 so this makes it probably one of the top 10 rarest cars in the uk and a couple of years ago 1 was sold for almost £2,000,000, so what do you think guys

It is a BEAST. The freaking thing was so powerful, it broke the dyno machine!

It technically is a race car as it was about to go race at the 24h Le Mans race but unfortunately it fell through because TVR were soon to be out of business so it was only ever raced at the FIA GT championships so TVR disided to make a hand full of road cars to try and bring them back into business but it was to much money and the company fell though and is now no more :(

Reminds me of Forza 3, it was a beast.
Legend says even TVR didn’t know the exact amount of power it produces because back then there were no dynos strong enough to test it.

It cwill beat the McLaren F1 if Sir Peter Wheeler didn’t chickened out of it. But he was right since putting down 800+hp with no assists is a bit scary.
Also I can provides some facts and rumors of the TVR Cerbera Speed Twelve.
The owner, Mr. Graham Abbott, have dynoed the car with the restrictors on and a milder cam profile. It produces around 840hp
He also managed to source one of the original chassis (W312 BFV) and restored it. The car is painted in TVR Racing Purple and has a tuned Aston Martin V12.
(Rumor) Vinky Wheeler, the daughter of Sir Peter Wheeler, kept the original TVR Project 7/12 prototype in her garage. But nothing is confirmed

No, that bit about the prototype in the Wheelers’ family garage, is somewhat true. Last time I checked, it was with his widow. But that was 2012.
