Did your dad have problems with the Silverado?
No; in fact, it was mechanically sound. However, its mileage was starting to get up there, and my dad wanted it gone before it hit 80,000 miles so he could still get a good resale value.

Funny enough, it’s fairly comfy, which is what I wasn’t expecting for a truck with that much torque!
This is huge! It’s got more than 4 times the engine displacement of our car! Must be a very comfortable truck :)
