I’d just like to add, as an American that learned German, you can make some pretty funny compound nouns. Here are a few: Kraftfahrzeug-Haftpflichtversicherungen, Rechtsschutzversicherungsgesellschaften, and so many others. Some would say the language is as confusing as fitting in.

The words are almost the samme as Danish.
For example:
German: bremskraftverstärker
Danish: bremsekraftforstærker
