Hot hatch thread: CIVIC EP3 TYPE R VS. CLIO 3 SPORT. They are so similar: both are manual, both have a 2000cc engine, both have 200hp. What do you guys think is the best choice?
I’m bias because I own an ep3, but overall I believe it to be a better car for all of the reasons already listed: better looking, better handling, more aftermarket availability etc.
I’d have to take the Honda

Hard choice.. I think I’ll go with Honda. The Clio isn’t bad but I love high revs
i would choose the ep3, and we get neither the Clio or the type r in the states……
Definitely Civic mate, Renault aren’t renowned for build quality
The Type R looks better but as a former Clio B driver I would buy the RS. Btw me & my family never had any issues with our Renaults
It’s a hard choice, but I would maybe prefer the Clio, since I like small hatches like this and I know Renault Sport is great…and the color is perfect! :D
