How this BMW V10's exhaust glows purple is beyond me, but it's still cool to watch!

98 Octane? Race Gas? Where is this? Some people drive 102 Octane in dailies in Germany 😳

USA octane is calculated differently. Our premium is 93, think the equivalent is 98 in europe? Or 101, can’t remember

After some research, apparently titanium glows purple under heat!

The Pagani Huyara’s exhaust is made of titanium, and to make it the gorgeous purple it is, they cook it in a oven.

The purple is not purple, it’s red but the ambient light and the camera makes it look like purple.

It is the camera that makes it look purple. Titanium glows redwhite like all other metals.

You sir, are a failure of a party crasher. 0/10, no ign for you. I award you no points, and leave you to feel shameful, shameful feelings about yourself.

Depending in where you live, their racing gas is not really racing gas for people like us. I can fill my daily with E100 (99.15 AKI) that is cheaper than E25 but it’s not a big deal (not really good gas mileage).

98 in NA isn’t the same as 98 in EU.

Every metal will glow purple when it is hot enough. Its Planck’s law of blackbody radiation.

False. It will glow white hot once it emits enough visible wavelengths
